Over the years l have learnt that “There is a Perfect Design for Every Garden, You Just Need to Find It". It is a bit of a nonsense, like your lost keys always being in the last place you looked. Of course they are in the last place you look, otherwise you would still be looking.

Some gardens seem to design themselves. The design flows and every element falls into place like a dream. Then there are those gardens that just want to fight you, I get a feeling, this isn’t right, something is missing or just the plain l don’t like it! Its back to the drawing board, a possible fight with designer block and time allow the ideas to percolate.
