Let's be honest, summer houses are generally prettier than sheds (though l do love the shed in the photo).

Summer houses for your garden are popular but you need to ask yourself...

"What am l going to use a summer house for?"

If you have romantic images of sitting in your summer house whilst it is raining outside, the reality is unlikely you would go outside in the first place. You would prefer to retire to your home.

If you feel you will sit in you summer houses when it is warm, it is more likely you will want to sit on some comfy furniture on your outdoor terrace and not be cramped up in the summer house.

Often summer houses become dumping ground for 'stuff', being neglected and treated as a shed!

The unfortunate reality is all your clutter is now on embarrassing display with their large windows. Maybe a shed would be better in the first place or apply a window privacy dressing to hide the embarrassment….
