“Craig has recently finished our garden and we couldn’t be happier. He has created an amazing design, far better than anything we would have come up with and executed it brilliantly.”
How it works.
Whether you’re based in Hertfordshire or further afield our design process works like this.
1. Register interest.
Once you register interest, we email you our Garden Consultation Form which will help you clarify the scope of the project, and provide information on what to expect from the initial consultation.
2. Meet & explore.
Next, we arrange a no-obligation online video or phone call to “meet” and explore your ideas on how you’d like to improve your garden.
We will review your wish list and any mood boards that you have prepared, and discuss any specific requirements or limitations to the design.
3. Commission design.
Following the call, and if you decide to proceed with a paid garden design, we will arrange a site visit if you’re local to Hertfordshire.
For clients further afield, we will request a virtual garden tour and guide you through taking accurate measurements of your garden.
4. Concept design.
This is where it starts to get really exciting—a concept drawing of your potential new garden!
The concept will be based on the initial consultation and either the site visit or virtual garden tour.
It is important to invest the time to review the concept thoroughly and to visualise the design in your garden. Now is the time to make changes, to add new items or remove elements that you don’t want.
5. Full design.
Once the concept has been discussed and agreed, we create a detailed CAD drawing of your new garden design, a video “walk-through” plus suggested landscaping materials and planting plan.
For local clients, we will arrange a meeting to present the design in person. For remote clients, we will arrange a Zoom meeting.
After the presentation, all files will be left with you, so you have a chance to fully review and digest the design.
6. Next steps.
We follow-up a few days later, to answer any questions and to discuss how we can help you make the garden design a reality.
If you have requested it, we will provide local clients with a quotation for landscaping works.

A garden isn’t a cost, it’s an investment.*
Your investment for our Garden Design Service starts from £1997 (including VAT).
The process typically takes 3-4 weeks, sometimes longer if there are additional factors involved, such as coordinating with other building work. We will provide you with an accurate lead time from the outset.
* Having a well-designed garden will actually increase the value of your property (try Googling it!).
